Feelin' Blue... In A Good Way

I finally did it!  I painted my door and it looks awesome!  I took advantage of Sherwin Williams 40% off paint sale a couple of weeks ago and picked up some BM Stratton Blue.  I was inspired by the Cottage & Vine front door a year ago when Rene originally posted about it, but was a little too nervous to go painting anything on the exterior of my home.  Needless to say I finally mustered up the courage and went for it and now I'm kicking myself for not having done it much sooner.  It look so good.  Of course now I need to finish sprucing up the exterior of our home because it is looking kinda shabby in comparison.  I think that'll be our fall home project this year.

The Incident that took place... lets just say that a certain two year old that was supposed to be napping came downstairs while I was in the kitchen and decided to paint the floor... thank goodness for rubbing alcohol.

Isn't it so pretty!?!  Now all of that brass really needs to be changed.  I see some ORB in my future.  Or should I go with satin nickel?  The light fixtures also need to be updated... we've got some serious mid-90's going on out front.  But, progress is slowly being made.
