Here's how I did it. I used leftover material from Ella's Sweater Dress. I used this flower pattern from Wise Craft. I used two big flowers, one small flower and then I cut another flower that was just a little smaller than the small flower pattern. I also cut out a tiny flower that was just bigger than the button I used to assemble the whole flower. Since I was using sweater material and it's chunkier I didn't follow the directions given on the Wise Craft tutorial. I just layered the flowers from big to small and then sewed the button in the middle to hold it all together. I hot glued a pin on the back so that I could attach it to my bag without it being permanent. I might want to use the flowers elsewhere as well. Maybe a scarf, another bag, or a sweater. Who knows? So I didn't want it to be permanent. Anyways, it came out cute I think. Now I want to make more so that I can have a whole flower collection. :)

Hey I just came across your cute blog somehow. I just love how creative you are. Can't believe you made a sweater dress out of an old sweater. How cool is that. I also love that Wise Craft website, I checked it out, was excited about all the fun ideas. Anyway, I recently started a new blog, hoping to connect with other moms and gather advice and information. Feel free to check it out, and leave me comments of advice or opinions :)

I was just working on my hand made flowers;). Thanks for giving me props on my paper cup craft:). So funny that my craft is paper cups hanging on a ribbon. It makes me laugh at myself. One day maybe I'll enjoy doing a real craft. Problem with me is I have zero patience!
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty!! I'm so excited that you want to do a giveaway on my blog with them!! I'm wishing I had a chance to win them! lol
